This is getting to be a pain in the backside… because of the snow I am unable to take any days off, therefore my ability to study/research drops dramatically: I would normally be able to take about 16 hrs of research time during a Thursday/Friday period, of which I have achieved less than four. This is so frustrating! I didn’t ever think I would welcome rain, but hey…
I have received some positive feedback from my supervisor, Mike, (thanks, Mike!) suggesting I pull my finger out and finish and submit my journal paper asap. It is pretty much ready to go, just some final ‘t’s crossing and ‘i’s dotting to do. Hopefully, sanity (and the rain) will return next week and I may actually get a day off, which means I will have the time to do this.
I have continued with my database searches, although slowly. Sage Online has presented some problems when searching that means each individual search term takes a considerable time to enter, sift and write-up. Ah, the joys of systematic reviews. Not. So… early start tomorrow to fit in a couple of hours before work as I need to finish Sage by the end of the weekend. This is pretty much it then… I am not sure if the review has been comprehensive enough, but I guess I will find out when I submit the first draft.
