Meumfidet was founded to support domiciliary care services to deliver world-class excellence in client experience.

Through a proven model of care that puts the individual at the centre of provision, Meumfidet ways of working support owners, managers and caregivers to enable people to live well in their own homes throughout their later life.

Meumfidet is owned by husband and wife team Paul and Maddie Watts. Maddie and Paul each have over 30 years of experience in the care sector, including 21 years running a three-star, ‘excellent’ rated, residential home and ten years owning and managing an ‘outstanding’ rated domiciliary agency.

Maddie Watts BSc

Maddie has a proven track record of managing care services to the highest standards and, managing a team of 50, her efforts have twice seen her twice awarded area finalist at the GBC Awards (Care Manager Award). As Registered Manager, she has a keen understanding of the Care Standards Act and the operational changes needed to achieve the highest CQC ratings.

Maddie has presented at UKHCA conference on staff retention and engagement, and has a comprehensive understanding of the care sector. With a BSc in Occupational Therapy, Maddie has a very practical outlook that allows her to understand the difficulties presented at ground-level and intitute changes that reflect her values of highest-quality care.

Dr Paul Watts, Ed.D, MA, CMgr

Paul is an experienced company director and Chartered Manager, with a Doctorate in (Management) Education, he has a background in developing teams and individuals to their highest potential. Paul works with directors, owners, managers and care teams towards changing culture, policies, procedures and skills, to enable excellence at all levels of the organisation.

Paul has designed and implemented strategic changes in many organisations, addressing issues of company processes and business culture to ensure all stakeholders benefit from a values-centred ethos. Paul has qualifications in business, education and social work and has worked with CCG’s, Local Authorities, Emergency Services and social care agencies throughout his working life.
